Yet ANOTHER New Beginning ......

Yet ANOTHER New Beginning ...... Aug 3 2014
Why don't I just call it 'Another occasional entry' and stop inviting myself to think I'm a 'failure'!
Sheet of Directions for installing Castors
When over for Tony's 80th party, Michael put big castors on the Pink Carmel Shelves which hold the sorting boxes. The castors cost 9.99 Euros in Aldi - great value.

part of label for 8 piece Down Lights Holesaw
I bought wonderful red cutter-hole-maker 'bits' for the drill. Not often used, but great when they are needed.

Part of application form for Dunnes loyalty card scheme

Application form when I joined Dunnes Stores loyalty card scheme, around July 2014
2 handwritten notes
One note is about the lodgments Tony made of money I earned giving student support.

The second note has the number I had to give Argos when I collected two more Hostess trolleys which I plan to use to hold plants in the gazebo when winter comes.

These are the notes I took while on the phone, enquiring about the Set-Dancing Weekend in Castletown, Co Laois, May Bank Holiday Weekend 2014.
Yes, I did attend it, had a wonderful time, and have already booked my accommodation to attend in 2015, DV.
(DV stands for Deo Volente, the latin for 'if God wills'. In Irish, the same thought is expressed by 'Le cunamh De' which means 'with the help of God'.

These sheets are from a quiz run at the Irish Fuchsia Society end of year meeting. I have created blanks with the attention of using them the next time there is a gathering in Mary's. It will be a different kind of 'party piece'.
Two items here, unrelated.

The note is the reading of the electricity meter which Tony made, and gave me to submit online, in order to get a more accurate bill, rather than one based on an estimated reading.

The 10 Euros price-tag is either from the green raincoat, or from a black umbrella which I also bought in Dunnes. However, I think the umbrella was actually 5 Euros.

The public library in Tallaght now gives you a piece of paper showing which book(s) you borrowed, and when they are due back.
These were Talking books, but my memory is that neither of them worked. I have since started using the online service and download books directly on to the computer. Much handier!

This tiny label is off a splendid pair of Gardening gloves that I bought this year in B&Q - a British firm I wouldn't normally choose to shop in only as a last resort. Well, not only did I get the gloves there, but I also got peat free compost Growbags there, which I couldn't get in any of the Irish firms!
This is the Mass Leaflet from the celebration of Fr Larry Collin's OP 50th jubilee of his ordination.

I was reminded that he must have looked something like the photo when he first came here to our home to teach the Bible to five of us - my mother, aunt, friend and Tony and myself. How the years pass!

NOTE
These pics were taken yesterday, August 2 2014, and about 50 items were either 'filed', thrown out, or put in the C-Box,(where they will be magicked away by Tony if I haven't found a legitimate reason for removing them during the next six months.
I was going to put all 50 images in the one posting, but it makes more sense to break them apart into more digestible chunks. However, the sequence is that of the taking of the images which is the randomness as I picked an item from the pile on the table.
