INTERRUPTIONS (1) Plum Jam

Missed a day yesterday, but doesn't mean I totally neglected WITOT.
Remember that pile of papers in yesterday's posting, well, I bit the bullet and went through it, and found it so interesting that I am going to do a posting on it, possibly later today or tomorrow - even if it means a slight INTERRUPTION to the ongoing flow.
But in the pile, I found some recipe's, among them one in my mother's handwriting for Plum Jam. As my sister is enjoying a bumper crop of plums, I thought she might like a scan of the recipe so that is the only image I produced yesterday.

Isn't technology wonderful - my mother died in October 1979. She probably wrote this recipe when my grandmother (her mother-in-law, died 1953) was still alive, and growing Victoria plums in abundance in her garden.
And here, sixty one years or more later, we two sisters can link to these two women, and their gardening skills over miles and years. Wonderful!
