Of course, maybe this is a blessing as my back is nearly back to normal, and I might have been tempted to do too much in the garden had the sun been shining.
Another bundle containing items that I 'can't possibly throw away' - really, I think I have to admit that the big box which contains all this previously unrecorded material may have been packed ready to be stored in the STORE, but possibly never got there as room hadn't been made for it.
When I finish the backlog of WITOT items, next task will be to record the contents of the STORE. Actually, I think a lot of them may already have been listed, but photographing them adds a lot of value - or so I think!
Monthly Catalogue from Rua Red gallery. I think I said it before, it really bugs me when printed material omits the year of the event!
I eventually found the year 2012 in one of the ads which included an expiry date for the voucher it was offering!
More cards from Clo's exhibition. The lower image is the piece she displayed. The reality was infinitely more dramatic than the picture.
I like the story this little card tells - obviously I must have told them that I didn't drink tea or coffee, so they wrote 'hot drink' on it. But of course, I never went back there, so never benefitted.
Label - could have been off one of the brown wooden drawers that I still use, with new labels that also fall off.
Yet another small piece of paper of unknown origin. Straight into WITOT box.
More pieces of the expired credit card - to WITOT box
Items from St Mark's Community School, 1970'ss
Item from Old Bawn Community School
Item from St Maelruan's Senior National School
Item from Tallaght Art's Council. There isn't an Art's Council in Tallaght now - but the County Council have an Arts Officer. The Arts Forum, of which I was a member is either defunct or in suspended animation!
Notes taken at a talk given y Fr Jim Burke OP. I wonder if he is still alive. No, he died in 2009.
This is the magazine that my son-in-law worked for.
The Dragon computer mentioned on the cover was the first computer we ever owned.
Cards from my 50th birthday - 1987

Scrap book with photocopies of Irish Times, gift from Joey
Photocopy of front page of Irish Times on the day I was born.

Reference to the Madrid bombing foretold the bombing of Guernika just three days later.

The envelope contains the draft notes of my first thesis, The Elements of Conflict (1989). I dare not throw them out until I find one of the final copies which I seem to have mislaid!
