What I Threw Out Today

Why 6 Today?

Why 6 items today - is it
  • Special for Sunday?
  • Something special is included that I didn't want to leave out?
Actually No, it's just that I'm not so good at counting so early in the morning.
Here then are the 6 items - the box and the red ribbon were only added yesterday from the clear-up I did on my brown table. So I am 'endorsing myself' liberally for dealing with these two so promptly!

This birthday card is from my Recovery friend with whom I walk to the meeting in St Martin's Church each Monday. She is even longer attending than I am, and I have been going for over twelve years, I think.
I filed it with other Birthday cards.
I love this little red ribbon from Butler's chocolates. Whoever gave them to me didn't write their name on the label.
So I have put it in the C-box as I find it very hard to throw it straight out.

I'm not quite sure what this is or where it came from. I thought it would act as a clamp for keeping papers together, but it is sealed at one end.
Straight into WITOT box.

As well as being a re-cycled jar, formerly filled with delicious hand-crafted mustard, I think I used to use it to contain wall-paper paste for some art project I was doing at the time.
Straight into WITOT box, to be taken out and put with glass re-cycling.

This box is from Hazel's trip to Egypt and contained a selection of perfume essences which she gave me. I'm putting it in the C-box in the hopes that I will find a use for it as I really don't want to throw it out.

This purple dolphin was the resevoir on a fancy floor-mop I had. The fancy bits failed, but the mop itself is still in use, using a large microfibre cloth.
Straight into WITOT box.

Think I am getting into a rhythm here, doing this entry each day. I have another box-ful ready to empty into the green bin.
It has taken about 35 minutes to do the whole process today.
