I'm putting in some pics, then I'm going for lunch, and maybe a snooze. Let's see if I am disciplined enough to get down to work again in a few hours.
Yes I did! I can be disciplined when I put my mind down to it!

This is a bundle of material from a course I did with the Lay Dominicans in the Priory.
I have stowed it with the other Lay Dominican stuff beside my bed. Something else that will have to be 'tidied' one of these days!
Documentation from me volunteering at the Bloom Garden Festival 2014. I'm not sure how valuable I was. What they wanted was people to donate to their raffle. I thought they wanted my gardening skills.
Parish Newsletter collected at the Church in Borris in Ossory - actually, I think it was the sister-church in Killesmeestia, when I was staying with Hazel while attending the Castletown set-Dancing Festival in early May.
This has something to do with shares, but I don't think think its worth very much. It's what remains after the ill-fated eircom investment which has been sold and re-sold till I have no idea what its about. My understanding is that I would have to pay more to claim the money than the shares are worth. Talk about Jarndice and Jarndice in Dicken's Bleak House. Some things never change.
Leaflet about Laois, picked up at the Country Market in Borris-in-Ossory which I attended one Saturday with Hazel.
Nil Fhios agam cad ta e seo.
I don't understand what this leaflet is about, so Caith me amach e - I threw it out.
Another Laois leaflet. I have a lot of time for the Bealtaine Festival which celebrates what older people do creatively in Ireland today.
Leaflet from an Exhibition in Rua Red in Tallaght. I always enjoy exhibitions when I go to the trouble to attend them. I need to renew my commitment to do this more often.
My voting card for the local elections in 2014.
I didn't vote for anyone in a political party, only for independents.
I am totally disillusioned with the system that forces people to vote against their conscience or be expelled from the party.
We will be having a bye-election here in the autumn. I just hope there will be an independent to vote for.
Train ticket coming home from Hazel's
Joke from a Christmas cracker. I get great mileage from these jokes as they are always new to me because I never remember the punch-line!
Code number for the lids for the black boxes bought in Ikea. These boxes are in the glazed gazebo. The idea is that they will act as a heat-sink when filled with water, and marginally raise the temperature in winter.
