INTERRUPTIONS (3) Pile of Papers

PILE OF PAPERS
These prove to be very interesting indeed.
By the look of it, I would say this pile is the result of editing a lot more material on another occasion, and that this is just a selection that has survived. Still there is some good stuff in it.

FURTHER INTERRUPTION!
In the middle of trying to sort out the backlog of blog images, foolishly I started also trying to sort out the 2014 IMAGES folder. Talk about confusing myself.
Just bear with me. Will eventually sort the chaos, but expect it to get worse before if gets better.

Meantime today, there will be a break while I go to town to get stuff for the vine weevils - this is urgent before they eat away my 60+ lovely fuchsias.

SUNDAY August 24 2014
So as I get back to my routine again, I want to add in more information about the pile of papers. It has taken me an age to locate the images, but I think I have them now.
This overview of the unsorted bundle (without the cookery section, already posted) shows the variety of categories as explained below.

Photocopied page from son's school-copy. Takes some 'translation', but well worth the effort.
Items from courses I have taught over the years:
Songs from the Intro to English Course
Overheads from the Prep for 3rd Level (incl Speed Reading)
Quotations (mine and students) from Montessori for Parents and Teachers.

Very interesting article - could be late 70's or early 80's showing life for people on state pensions hasn't changed all that much.
This other newspaper article is the one that got me on radio arguing with Gaybo about the effects of having guns in the classrooms of small children. The research quoted (or misquoted?) makes no reference to whether the discipline of the classroom might also allow or disallow aggression.

Hopefully this expands the information about the 'pile of papers' somewhat.
