What I Threw Out Today

I began September 21 2010 - To record of some ephemera I had collected before disposing of them

August 3 2014 (5)

It's getting faster. With luck, just one more posting after this will finish yesterday's marathon session with my helpers.
I don't plan to do such big sessions when on my own - Ten or twelve items a day will be fine - but as I write that, the specter of that dump/clear-out looms over me - It would be great to have more to contribute.

More Bus times, experimenting about going to Castletown for that Set-Dancing Weekend last May.

The two chocolate Euros were the change I received on admission. We ate them yesterday - delicious - and about time as they were beginning to show heat-damage, probably from lying in the sun on my table during this lovely summer that is turning into a monsoon autumn! (In Ireland, autumn tratidionally begins with Lughnasa, the start of August.

Program of the Christmas/New Year Celebration of the Godhead Fellowship that I occasionally attend. It was held in the hall of the Church of Ireland, St Maelruain's.
The two ribbons were part of the decorations.

Rough Draft of Tony's Thank-You notes. I helped him a bit with the lay-out which nearly drove the two of us crazy! But we got it fixed in the end.

Opel and date have to do with the Great Big Clear-out
Yet another library slip - this time from Feb 2013 when I was attending a weekly Comhra session. Don't think I got much help from the books, but the conversation was great, and I missed it when it faded out.
Not clear in my mind about the details of this note. But seeing the name of UTV, and Caroline, makes me feel sad yet again.
Here was a firm that I did business with for 10 years. Their customer service, Caroline especially, was superb, their service very reliable.
Suddenly, it was taken over by Vodafone, and our accounts transferred. Financially we will not lose, but on a human level, I hate the thoughts that people who did such a good job for all those years will be in danger of losing their jobs, while a monster company like Vodafone will make all the profits.

A little drawing done for me by my student on the back of a Christmas Greeting.
I'm leaving out another image - it is filed in 'handwritten notes' and is someone's email address. Need to be security aware.

This is an important notice that 'got removed' during the re-ordering of my work-room. I need to get it hung up again. Sometimes I forget this most important wisdom.

Catalogue for Rua Red - filed in box marked 'ART'

Invitation to attend Paul's Exhibition. As I said above, I haven't been going to exhibitions lately. Will get back in the exhibition habit when the Garden Re-construction is finished.
