12 for Today

Have been at this WITOT process for a while today, and the sun outside is calling me to work in the garden. Maybe after today, I will cut down on the number of items (at least on sunny days!)

Today's collection - nice mixture of 'things' and 'papers'. Doesn't always work out that handy.

When I got new carpet last year, these were the layers of existing coverings that were removed. The black and white lino was originally in the kitchen, back in the 1970's. The dark grey was re-cycled from the school where Tony worked. I think the muddy coloured piece in the front may originally have been yellow!

This is the new carpet and underlay. Charcoal grey, simple and no fuss.

I'd say this is part of the packaging from one of my phones - no idea which one.

I have a vague memory that this contained sweets, that they were a much appreciated gift from someone, that they didn't last very long, and were delicious!
Who and when escapes my memory.
Leaflet showing events last year in our local community centre. Although originating with the support of the parish, so far as I know, it is now a fully independent community initiative, run by a very effective committee. The Chairman showed me around one time. It is a lovely place.
Another of those 'question-mark hangers' that need to have a label with them. Again, no idea what it was off.

This piece of sponge will not be thrown out as I am going to exchange it for the other half which has been re-used as a shoe polish applicator for at least a year or more.
RE-NEW, RE-USE, RE-CYCLE.
This looks like notes for a brief talk about the Holy Spirit. But I have no recollection of ever giving it.

Not the first time that I got a 'bee out of my bonnet' by writing a speech/sermon about it.

Hymnsheets from a Charismatic event in 2013. Am 're-cycling' this to Tony.

This is the program of the CD concert organized by our neighbour Eddie. Amazing beautiful and enjoyable and lovely audience.

So much for today. It takes at least 70 repeats of an action to establish a new habit. Wonder how much of the collection will be dealt with in 70 postings?
Incidentally, today's contribution did empty one small box, so I am getting places.
