VERY VERY LATE ...

Just back from Sligo trip, and determined the night will not pass before I make a short entry!

TODAY'S ITEMS

SERVIETTE
From Set-Dancing Party 2008 - at the Glenside Pub in Churchtown. This was just a short while after we began the classes after visiting the Fleadh Ceoil in Tullamore

NOTICE
Announcing events to celebrate Edel Quin - 2007 was the anniversary of her birth. I don't remember attending any of this events. I may still have been in Venice.

LEAFLET
The mat in the picture is blue, but I only remember us ever having a white mat of this type. Now, as it happens, we have a blue mat, but it isn't rubber. The rubber one had a very strong odour in the confined space of the new shower cabinet.

NOTE
I think this refers to the settings on the Canon S 50 camera which I have been using to take the images for this blog. Currently, I have made an adhesive label to stick on the dial from which the numbers have worn away from constant useage.

SERVIETTE
Prayergroup dinner, December 2008 in the Glashaus Hotel. This place closed down not long afterwards as a result of the recession. However, they subsequently began renting out their bedrooms, so are still there in the Square for the moment.

PAPER HAT
The purple paper hat was from the prayer-group party. I hate purple, but I do like paper hats to give a festive atmosphere.
