The first image shows the books that were formerly stored in the green 'treasure chest' which is to become the C-BOX. I plan to list the books now before I put them away yet again. (Will I ever have time to read them. Many of them have bookmarks showing that I have half-read them.)

The second image , to the right, shows the empty green box with its lid. In front of the box, in the empty plastic bag which I have recycled. This bag will contain the contents of the re-cycling box which can also be seen on the right-hand side of this image..
Time for lunch. Back shortly!
SUCCESS AT LAST!
I went through the recycling, and extracted a small number of items which you can see in the third image. These removed items are listed below:
- Newspaper with my picture on the front page
- Pile of serviettes
- Items from trip to Claremorris when I was awarded Emerging artist for 2008
- Family drawings from Family Encounter around 1978.
- Storybook and pamplet from Isle of Mull where my McLean great great grandmother's clan have their headquarters.
- Calendar from Siena Convent Drogheda celebrating 800 year jubilee of Dominican nuns (I spent some months trying my vocation with this order in 1961)
- Strip showing heights of hills and mountains used during the Camino in 2008

THE FUTURE
The fifth image, to the left here, shows a close-up of the label on the plastic bag. The label shows today's date, the date it was sealed. For the next six months, the bag will remain in the lovely green treasure chest - an appropriate place in my opinion.
During those six months, if I remember something that I have changed my mind about, I can go to the box and 'rescue' it. However, I am thinking that this is unlikely because I have already extracted some items as listed above.
Some time after the six month mark (June 23 2011), without telling me, my husband will take the bundle, or whatever is still left in the bag and will empty it in the recycling bin.
If history repeats itself, when I find the bag has gone, I will have difficulty remembering what was in it. Of course, I can always consult this blog to remind myself.
