Another one of those ....

I'm not sure which annoys and exasperates me the most -  the fact that this mail is unsolicited,
Or the fact that so much money is spent on the bundle of bumph they send.

Well the response these people draw from me is similar each time:
"Please remove my name from your database.
If I am going to donate, I will do so without you spending money like this on persuading me."

The items included are as follows:

• Letter of appeal/invitation to support
• Stamped addressed envelope
• Details of what the donation might be spent on
• Coloured post-card showing lifeboat in action, with story on the back
• Adhesive car sticker
• There was also the envelope and stamp in which the material reached me

Six items  with a money value, and using up forests, and it didn't generate a penny from me.
Their only consolation might be that I didn't just throw it all in the rubbish-bin.
And I did phone to tell them not to send any more stuff, so that's one bundle less that will be sent out next time! (or am I very naive to think that really is what will happen?)
