Just realizing that the items formerly in BOX 2 OPENED are somewhat in chronological order. This is surprising as most times when I opened a box, I lifted it high in the air, and let the contents fall on to the table in front of me. Maybe I never got to go through that box at the time, which will make it all the more delightful to so so now.
Of course, today only one item (the letter) is from the box. The other items are more recent, even as late as yesterday.
LETTER
A little more information on what was in that package that the post-office lost the contents. Interesting to note the delay in the date of this letter and the date the package was posted. The money requested doesn't sound like much today, but in those days, every penny was precious and would have had to be saved in advance.
PEN
If you look carefully at this pen, you will see the head of Nefertiti which makes me think it came from Egypt. However, I haven't been to Egypt yet, so I wonder who gave it to me. I know it wasn't my sister as I remember she brought me a bottle of essential oil, or something like that with a wonderful perfume.
TOOTHBRUSH
This is the toothbrush I discarded this morning. I didn't like the handle on this style, so I was delighted to find a plainer style in Heaton's in the Square yesterday. The fact that the new one only cost 50 cents delighted me even more, so I got four of them.
ADHESIVE LABEL
This is from this afternoon. I took this label from the purple plastic folder in which I put the ANGELOLOGY - A Response text which I am taking to the Artists event at Red Rua this evening. I stuck the label on an ACTION PAD card to prevent it from sticking to other items.
BAND LABEL
This label is from another bird-feeder that we bought, also in Heaton's. It has a ceramic top and bottom on it - I hope it will survive any high winds that come, and not break against the down-support of the pergola on which we plan to hang it.
TAG CARD
The birdfeeder was a real bargain, reduced to half-price for the January sales.
PACKAGING
The packaging, which you can scarcely see, is a bubble pack off the new tooth-brush which I started using today.
