Á É Í Ó Ú á é í ó ú
Bhí mé (I was) an-"busy" (very busy) inné (yesterday) agus ar (and on) na laeanta eile (the other days). (Níl an focail Gaeilge agam (I do not have the Irish word) i gcóir "busy"(for "busy")) Feach mé suas é (I looked it up) ar Google (on Google) agus 'sé "gnóthach" an focail (and "gnóthach" is the word).
Actually, it has been hectic, so not surprisingly I forgot both the Irish and the blog postings. And it's going to be even more hectic when I get going on the CREATE course tomorrow, so there may be more missing blogs over the next few months.
CARD
This has a phone number on it but no name. I have no idea who it might be, but it is probably from quite a while ago as there are only six figures instead of the current seven.
LEAFLET
I probably got this at an early Traideireann event since it is the British version of the promotion for fair trade coffee. I was an enthusiastic coffee drinker from the time I was in the convent in Houston 1958-60 until I developed a severe food intolerance when on a course in Minneapolis in 1996.
BROWN ENVELOPE
Not 'that' kind of brown envelope (the kind slipped to corrupt politicians when a favour is requested) This envelope is addressed to two members of Youth with a Mission who stayed with our family, some time in the early 1980's.
FLYER
More coupons for cleaning products. While it is true a few pence were taken from the price of the item, unless it was something I was already in the habit of using, it wouldn't really be a bargain.
