Dance and Stamps

To the left of this image are two items connected with set-dancing - the handwritten sheet is a list I wrote for myself as a routine for what I do for 'sean nos'. I chose a piece of music - the piece usually played at the dance-class I was attending regularly at the time. Then I had to organize the correct number of steps to fit the number of repeats of the melody.

The blue leaflet represents an unfulfilled dream. We got this leaflet from a woman we met at the set-dancing in Miltown Malbay last year. She was planing to organize a trip to a Greek Island in May 2012, and Tony and I thought this might be a way to celebrate our 50th Wedding anniversary which occurs Nov 21 this year.
But when we mentioned it to family, there was no enthusiasm, and when we thought it through, we decided it would be mad to be thinking of this and of the insulation at the same time. Well, maybe we will revisit the idea next year .......

To the left of the image are the envelopes I got on Christmas cards, mostly 2011. The stamps will be slavaged for the STAMP COLLECTION which is long overdue for serious sorting-out.

The addresses need to be checked with the database we have for sending out the Christmas letter. (last years letter was exceptionally short - don't have to think about this year's just yet)

Only the paper of the envelopes will reach the 'throw out box' - in fact, I'd better do the snipping soon before I lose the courage to throw out.
