9 ITEMS on 2 IMAGES

I decided to use the two images side by side, but the program isn't allowing me to do so.

Anyway, I decided to use two lots of items as there weren't many overall.

I still haven't figured out the provenance of the box from which I am taking them - the dates of the items are very varied.

One of the pleasures of going through this material is how it links to widely differing times of my life.

For example the item to the right says:
I am 43.
If you asked me yesterday what did I do when I was 43, I very much doubt that I could have told you specifically.

TODAY'S ITEMS
LEAFLET
This leaflet is announcing a cafe near Aungier Street. However, I have no idea where I got it. Really Tony would make better use of it than I would as he loves trying out new eating places.

NARRATION
Think this might have been written by one of my daughters for a school or a Girl Guide's event. I have no memory of seeing them perform it.

CO-OP
I joined this when I first went to London in 1961. I wonder  would they still accept me as a member if I presented the book to them? It only has three entries in it.

RSNC
I have long thought it a good idea to select Christmas gifts that support worthy causes. This letter and catalogue are for 1981-82. I think I may have bought stickers and thank-you cards from them.

MORMONS
The Mormons used to visit us regularly when we first came to Tallaght. This sheet is interesting, especially the back which you cannot see in the picture. They have done a kind of happiness survey. I wonder how it would compare with more recent surveys.

SIGNATURES
This is a kind of handmade envelope, and I think it may have contained the large handmade card alongside it.

BIRTHDAY
I really like this card. The heart emblem is from Marriage Encounter. if I am 43, then the date is 1980.

GREEK BAG
I'm not sure but I suspect that my son may have brought this home from the trip he made to Greece on the Magic bus.
