Only a few items in today's image - maybe I will do another image if I have time before I go out to lunch in the Ukrainian restaurant, The Admiral, in Marlborough Street. Think it is Ukrainainian, but not 100% sure.
The items:
RICH TEA WRAPPER
Rich Tea biscuits are Tony's favourites, but I often help myself to them when I have either run out of my own Weightwatchers packets, or else I have eaten too many of them.
You can see my hand in the image, reaching for the edibles as so often.
IKEA CATALOGUE 2008
This could be the first IKEA catalogue I saw, maybe even before they opened in Ballymun. We haven't bought much there, but it is a wonderland for wandering around - huge, with reasonable prices and lots of ideas for layout. Throwing out the old catalogue merely makes it impossible for me to compare the old prices with now. However I still have the current catalogue, so temptation isn't far away.
TWO ENGLISH STAMPS
I began stamp-collecting when I was eleven years old in 1948. The collection still exists. I must separate out my brother's stamps and give them back to him as he asked me to do ages ago. another of those 'long finger' tasks that I will eventually get around to.
REACH TOOTHBRUSH
This was my toothbrush which I used far longer than the three months recommended. Actually, I don't know why I went over the time. I never liked this style of brush, especially not the handle which I find clunky and not as comfortable as the old-fashioned narrow plastic handle that I have known since childhood.
Almost time to leave, so the final few items in the green plastic box will have to wait till tomorrow or whenever I get down to making the next 'throw out'
