Early chaos - June 2009

I am now realizing that when I began this blog nearly eleven months ago, see entry for Sept 22 2010, nothing in the first entries indicates just how much chaos I was living with, and why it was so urgent to do something about it.

The story/chaos began on June 2 2009 when we brought down a vast collection of items from the attic to be used as part of my Degree Show, inspired by the art-piece by Illya Kabakov "The Man who Never Threw anything away" see video here. This is not me, and not my video, but it is uncanny how my thinking is reflected in both the reading, and in Cara Davie's comments.

BELOW is what the Front Room looked like during June 2009. It got worse!

This gives an idea of where I started from as I began work on both my thesis and on the Degree Show (separate Blog here).
