About doing two things at the same time - namely, making art from ephemera by throwing it away.
What I Threw Out Today
I began September 21 2010 - To record of some ephemera I had collected before disposing of them

Redefinition
Also Nov 18
This project is becoming more like a kind of diary - well, that's OK with me. You can let me know how it is with you if you wish.
Not only am I recording 'what I threw out today', but I am also recording 'things that recently passed through my life'.
More pictures for you to look at while waiting for me to get back from gardening.
Another long wait - this is now December 2, but as I have said before, better late than never.
An article written by my grand-daughter and published in her college paper.
This is advertizing material from Draoicht, the art centre in Finglas.
I only infrequently attend their shows, but I am planning to donate their advertising material to NIVAL, the Irish material library in NCAD.
Think this another laundry dirt-catcher. If so, I think I can guarantee it has ended up in the WITOT box.
This is a packet of white ribbons that my husband used to tie up the branch of the tomato plant that broke while I was away in September.
Not sure what I will use them for, but they are too good to throw out.
This is the document to protect the new printer. Think it is now filed with all the other guarantees in the press under the kettle in the kitchen.
This is my current membership card of the Glasgow family history group that I joined more than ten years ago. I'm still very interested in Genealogy, but somehow, my other passions seem to get in the way.
An old password - think it was regarded as quite 'strong'.
This leaflet is for an exhibition that was on in IMMA in its temporary abode during the time I was involved with the 'This Situation' exhibition by Tino Seghal in Spring 2013.
The image doesn't really convey the bulk of this material I received from Vodafone. Half the forest of Europe must be sacrificed for shareholders like me who only have one or two shares.
This is just an empty box, but until recently, I was using it to keep my current books tidy on the small brown table in the kitchen.
Now the books are in a red plastic box, not really much more 'elegant', and totally out of sync with the green theme of the kitchen.
I'm not throwing it out yet, as I may use it during the sort-out of my work-room and store which I began recently (with help!)
Getting there! won't be too long now.
