What I Threw Out Today

Bit by bit

Bit by bit, I'm learning to 'throw things out' - mind I still want to record that I one owned this wrapper,  this broken item, this morsel of something whose value has evaporated, but whose memory and connections persist for me.
Yesterday, I arranged to have a helper come for a day every second week (starting Nov 26) with a view to 'working on the work-room/storeroom.
We'll see how it works out.
Meantime, today's posting is all current stuff (meaning prevention rather than cure of the accumulation!)

This is the box off the new tap that we got in the kitchen. It has a long lever, and moves like silk - such a delight after the stiffness of the ones we were using since we got the new kitchen in 1993.
This is the label off the new grey velvet 'throw' (blanket) that we got to cover my new chair which is a not-very-practicable pale grey and white colour.

I've searched for an image of the chair, but can't find it!

Nov 16

But now I've found two, before and after the 'throw'.

These are the plumber-work lists, first handwritten, then typed.
All the jobs were done.
Still struggling to learn how to read the water-meter - it has little 'clocks' on it as well as a dial in cubic metres.
My sister gave me shoes for the garden including new shoe-laces.
This is the wrapping off the laces.

I got another pair of those great gardening gloves with this label.
More shopping lists. Great when I can tick off almost all of the items.

A mystery - what is this safety label off?
Could it be the mat I bought for the porch?
Can't think of anything else that could be used on the stairs!

Onwards and upwards. Have another posting ready to go!
