A new printer

Nov 18
I haven't had my breakfast yet, so you can look at the picture until I get back to writing captions, which probably won't be until this evening as it is a sunny day and I plan to do some gardening!

Took me quite a while to eat that breakfast!
Never mind, better late than never. All the images in this posting are to do with the new printer I got, and the adventures I had setting it up.
At this moment, all I can say is that I have a big paper bag with various items to do with this blog in it. Whether they are entered or not, I'm not sure, so I am not going to say that I 'threw it out', when I don't really know that I did. What is true is that the WITOT box is ready for emptying, and I'm looking forward to doing that when I have caught up on the backlog of entries.

This is the begining of the saga, a description of what was wrong with the old printer. There were a few days left of the 3-year guarantee we had bought, so we hoped to benefit from the agreement.

These are the plastic bags that contained the documentation for the new printer.
This little collection is part of the wrappings from the new printer.

This is the box for the new printer. Of course, this hasn't been thrown out as it may be needed if it ever has to be sent for repair.

This little note is about me struggling to get the lovely new printer connected to the iMac. I didn't succeed, so am awaiting help.
but I managed to connect it to the PC, so I'm managing with a small amount of inconvenience going up and down stairs - good for my health, I'm sure.

I didn't need this kettle-lead, so it has gone into storage with all the other spare leads I have accumulated over the years.

Have more notes to write before I get up-to-date - bit by bit, it will happen.
