These items are dividers from boxes of floppy disks.
Here is the overall state of play.
The actual disk-boxes have been recycled to the garden and are making wonderful propagation boxes for cuttings - lavender in one, and fuchsia in the other.
The floppies have all been backed up on two different hard-drives. But the disks themselves will go through the C process - to be bagged, dated, put in C Box, and whatever hasn't been rescued will be magically thrown out after six months (My husband is the magician who makes them disappear).
But today is a triumph over all that C nonsense (which is a very solemn ritual for the Child part of me, even if the Parent part has little patience with it).
Today, I had actually put these dividers in the real waste-basket, when it dawned on me that I needed to honour myself for my courage, so here it is:
A house of cards built from something I actually did throw out today, along with the labels that separated the groups of disks.
I feel good to have completed this task, as the big box of disk has been blocking my passage for a number of weeks.
