What I Threw Out Today

After the webcast

Just a quick note to say that I had a lovely time with the delightful people in the 'Sister Projects'. You will find links to them and their work at the end of this page . I felt honoured to be listened to with such attention, and the questions people raised have set me off on new trains of thought, such as what residual effects might the people who made the items in my archive have or interact with the thoughts and ideas that I myself contribute to them in the form of a narrative, and whether they are part of the narrative whether I include them or not?

Another idea I liked was about whether the narrative might be different if someone not me, or unknown to me, or who didn't know me told the narrative?

I'm sure others of the questions will come back to me as time progresses.

Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a recording of what was said. From what I was seeing, I was being recorded by Livestream, but in the end, I don't think I was.

Not image was visible to viewers (I took the still above in PhotoBooth afterwards), and the question is whether Skype recorded the soundtrack (no video as it was a conference call).
I doubt if even Skype got to do the job as I had a crash just before the webcast, and although I switched off and on again at the mains, and all rebooted OK, I forgot I would have to manually switch on the hard-drives.

As I write, the iMac Time machine is whizzing away, but not sure if it will have held the Skype recording which is supposed to be saved to one of the drives! Ah well, shows how much I still have to learn about all this technical stuff.
