The last posting this morning began well.
I made the video in two parts. The first one was short and uploaded no bother.
The second part was much longer.
When I went to upload it, Blogger said it was too big.
I worked on it in Final Cut Pro, cut off a 12/39 min segment, but that was still too large.
I tried reducing the size using QuickTime 7, but that didn't reduce it enough.
So, for the moment, I'm Stymied. You see, all the items I spoke about in the version I made have now been 'disposed of' - in a variety of locations.
I'll give it one more try using iMovie. If you don't see the second video in the original posting, that will mean I haven't yet found a solution.
but keep checking back.
One day it will be here.

O DEAR ... another failure,
after all my efforts,
after struggling with FCP, and getting it to work
the file size is STILL TOO BIG!
Tried iMovie - too long since I used it - it was like looking into a bush.
So it's back to FCP!
Thursday July 9
Began at beginning again with original movie from Photo Booth 237.6 Mb and 38 minutes.
I cut off just 6 minutes at the start, exported as QT conversion. It was 137.7 minutes!
So I tried exporting it as a QT Movie. It was 942,7 Mb.
I give up.
If someone knows what is happening and wants to post a comment, maybe I could take heart again.
Meantime, I'm going to have breakfast and go out into the sunshine to sort our my garden after the high winds!
Friday July 10.
I did several more trials that produced even bigger files (324, 116, and 260) than the original 237.6
In the end, I found a little program that does the trick - because I was using a trial version, there is a logo on the image. But I plan to buy it if I can.
Hope you find it worth watching after all this effort.
