What I Threw Out Today

Six for today

Nothing very exciting, but sorry for the month's delay in posting. Just remembering that I promised someone I would post something, but I even forget what the item was. So if it is you that I promised, be of good heart, it will eventually get posted when I find it amid the perennial chaos!
Yes, I know it is a somewhat confusing image, but if you look hard, you will see there are indeed six items (seven if you cound the two pens separately)

This is the box off the planter I bought last Thursday. The idea was that it will take the place of the of the dead Rhus tree which will hardly bear the weight of the hanging baskets this year.

However although  the new planter is delightful, it is not strong enough to hold the big baskets. So I'll be finding another place for them.

Empty bottle of strawberry air-freshner. Looking forward to when the dispenser will be empty so I can use the Egyptian essences I got as a gift.

A charity label. I keep getting these dropped in my door, but have never given them anything. Whatever I have goes to SVP.

Two 'dead' pens - even with the computer, I must be doing a lot of handwriting.
The white pen I got from an independent candidate in the last election. He didn't get the seat.

For years I have been cutting the toes off old tights and keeping them with the intention of making stuffed toys.
Think I'll give up this habit.

This is part of the box off an absolutely delicious cream cake we got from our friend Michael G.
Unfortunately, it was all eaten by the time I thought of taking a photo!

There, I met my target for today (whatever about other days that I missed it.) No promises about tomorrow - don't want to 'set myself up' for disappointment.
