Both presents and wrappings figure in this image - so some kept and some thrown out.
The Turkish Delight sweets - it was years since I tasted them, so they got a quick death and the wrapper has now been thrown out.
The Video boxed set, Ireland's Yesteryear still hasn't been view, three months later. at first the excuse was that we couldn't get the DVD player to play through the TV which now has a Saorview arial since RTE went digital last October.
But that problem has been sorted now, so lack of time is the current excuse. Maybe this evening ....
The Focloir Poca has been in use almost every day as I continue to attend the Comhra in the library, and by degrees I begin to think 'as Gaeilge'.
The Ribbons and wrappings - I love the ribbons and they are now hanging casually in places around my work-room. The wrapping paper included various colours of tissue paper, and I used some of this to make Luminaria as the climax of my Christmas project.
The Umbrella picture was a gift from my granddaughter, and now hangs in my kitchen.
Finally, almost hidden, is the black jumper and green/black top that is soft and elegant and feels very good to wear.
So not everything get's thrown out.
