Just putting this in here, because of the day that's in it.
Actually, I jumped out of bed and it was eleven minutes past eleven on the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the eleventh year in this century.
I think this is an auspicious date on which to start the push toward finalizing the MAKEOVER project which is the formal structure for this part of my archiving art adventures!
This page of the VISUAL DIARY is clearly in two halves, written ten days apart.
On the top half of the page, I am asking the question: MAKEOVER - Where Now?
Other questions I am exploring:
What IS an Art Project?
How does what I am doing fit in with the original question I asked: Why not give your HOME the GIFT of a MAKEOVER?
And out of that question come the inevitable
Why?
How?
Especially, how does this BLOG fit into the Project aims and objectives
At this point I was interrupted, and never got back to it until today.
The lower half of the page expresses the NEW DIRECTION - I have now made a decision to end this MAKE-OVER PROJECT end at the END OF THE YEAR. - and "when we make a decision it steadies us" (Recovery Int)
Then last night, I was on Skype conference with the Sister Projects artists of the LOFT project, and took the opportunity to volunteer to present about my work for the meeting which will be held at the end of December.
So that is now my DEADLINE. I'm not spelling out details, as I don't want to program myself for 'failure', but as of today, I am firm in my resolve to accomplish this deadline.
I had heard this talk by Scott Belsky on radio at RTE 1 Oct 28 2011 (I've just realized that I have already shared this information. Well, this shows how much it impressed me. There are several other Belsky YouTube videos if you search for 'Scott Belsky'.

I was inspired, and you can hear the podcast here.
In case the podcast is only there for a limited time, here is a video of Scott Belsky which covers most of the same material.
